"Do It Again" is a vocal performed by American contemporary worship ring Elevation Worship. Written by Mack Brock, Chris Brownish, Matt Redman and Steven Furtick,[2] the song was released as the first single from their 2022 album There Is a Cloud.[3] [4] Information technology was released to Christian radio on February 23, 2018. The vocal peaked at No. 6 on the Usa Hot Christian Songs chart, becoming their 2nd Top x single from that nautical chart. It lasted on the charts for 33 weeks, their second longest charting song.[5] The song is played in a B-flat major central, and 172 beats per infinitesimal.[half dozen]

Background [edit]

The primeval version of "Do Information technology Again" was released on September 9, 2016, as function of the extended play titled Speak Revival.[7] The alive version of "Do It Once more" was and so released on February 17, 2018, during the pre-lodge period of There Is a Cloud, as the 2nd promotional unmarried of the album.[8] [9] It was recorded during the 12-day "Lawmaking Orange Revival" event in September 2016,[10] held by Elevation Church at its Ballantyne campus in Charlotte, Northward Carolina.[11] "Do It Again" impacted Christian radio on February 23, 2018, with an extended play containing the radio, live, reprise, audio-visual and Castilian versions of the song released on the same twenty-four hour period.[12]

Writing and development [edit]

Worship leaders and songwriters Mack Brock and Chris Brown had an interview with Kevin Davis in Reading, Pennsylvania for a 'Behind the Song' feature published on NewReleaseToday.[13] Mack Brock shared that the song was inspired past a sermon titled "Don't Stop on 6" that Steven Furtick preached at a Hillsong Conference, whereby Matt Redman identified a song concept.[xiii] Chris Brown, in relation to the song's takeaway message, said "We want people to know that God is faithful."[13]

The lyric and acoustic videos of "Practise Information technology Once again" was published on YouTube on September 30, 2016.[14] [15] The alive music video of "Practise Information technology Again" which likewise includes the reprise, recorded at Top Church building'south Ballantyne campus in Charlotte, North Carolina was released on February 24, 2017, through YouTube.[16] The lyric video of the song's Spanish version titled "Lo HarĂ¡s Otra Vez (Do It Again)" was released on August 21, 2017, via YouTube.[17] The live acoustic performance video of the song was then published on March one, 2022 via YouTube.[18]
